Olivia is an International Coaching Federation-certified life coach whose practice is devoted to helping people cultivate and trust their intuition through the magic of nature. She helps people connect to the wisdom of the earth and our cosmos, and, in turn, the powerful wisdom we each hold inside ourselves.
She incorporates the latest neuroscience, ecological research, herbalism, generously shared indigenous teachings, and a hefty dose of magic — all of which she also brings to the podcast.
She lives in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., with her adventure-loving family: her writer husband and two firecracker daughters who are, of course, named after plants.

Hello Curious Ones
A podcast by two creative entrepreneurs exploring the wisdom of nature, our role in it, and how to be loving stewards.
Where Wild Meets Wonder
Curious Nature is a podcast exploring the wisdom of nature, our role in it, and how to be loving stewards.
Season One focuses on cycles and the various ways they show up in our lives.
Your hosts are two creative entrepreneurs: Meghan LaPrairie, a personal brand photographer, and Olivia Bowen, an ICF-certified life coach.
Meghan LaPrairie
Meghan is a celebrated personal brand photographer who specializes in helping ethical companies showcase their brand to reach their ideal customers.
On any given day, you might find her working in the garden, practicing yoga, playing soccer with her children, or trying out a new vegetarian dish she saw on Pinterest.
She is an empath. Her friends describe her as being open, honest, and inquisitive. When she asked her partner what first drew him to her, he said it was her curiosity and questions. Meghan brings this same thirst for knowledge, and her deep compassion, into her photography. Every new project is an exciting opportunity to help her clients better reach their customers.
She also lives in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., with her nature-loving family: her consultant husband and two very curious daughters who are, as fate would have it, named after trees.

Engineering a podcast has been a real learning curve, but it's also been so much fun! I've been working with my incredible co-host and friend, Olivia Bowen, to bring you an exciting Season 2, featuring incredible guests. We got curious about the nervous system, tarot, stone medicine, and UZAZU somatic healing, to name a few. Our guests shared their unique insights and expertise, offering valuable lessons and thought-provoking discussions on different modalities of healing and intuition.
And if you missed it, be sure to go back and listen to season one, where we explored the various ways cycles show up in our lives. We delved into the beauty of cyclical living, the power of the menstrual cycle, and the transformative nature of plateaus.
My co-host is a certified life coach whose practice is devoted to helping people cultivate and trust their intuition through the magic of nature.
Sacred Nature Herbals now offers delightful tea blends on their website. Each delicious custom blend is hand-crafted and imbued with the finest ingredients.
Ep. 001: The Beauty of Cyclical Living
What if there were a way to get everything done without pushing? If you could honor your own longings for rest and productivity? And what if, on top of that, you had a reason to celebrate every six weeks – and get closer to the rhythms of the earth while you do that?
That, Curious One, is exactly what we’re digging into in our first episode: The Beauty of Cyclical Living.
Ep. 002: Nonstop Peaks Are Just a Plateau
Today we’re taking an alternative look at productivity and achievement, one that draws lessons from nature rather than the daily grind of the 9 to 5.
We take a meandering path, exploring what it’s like to live with chronic pain, a way to think about body acceptance that has nothing to do with the scale, and why suffering is not a prerequisite for progress.
Ep. 003: Daily Magic for Auspicious Weeks
Did you know that each day of the week has its own planetary ally and energy? In this episode, we get curious about what it’s like to work with these energies to bring more magic ease to your life.
Ep. 004: Working with the Rhythms of the Moon
How do you feel about the moon, Curious One? Do you track the moon cycles, set intentions, or take it into consideration when planting your garden?
Would you like to?
Or do you think it’s a bunch of nonsense?
In today’s episode, your curious hosts explore all things lunar, from how earth’s natural satellite was formed to full moon releasing ceremonies, and everything in between.
Ep. 005: How to Collaborate with Your Menstrual Cycle (Yes, Really)
Have you ever longed for the days of a red tent? When people could gather and bleed together, set aside other responsibilities, and allow this monthly period (pun intended) of rest?
We do, too!
But since we can’t quite finagle that, we have the next best thing: a deeply personal, sometimes practical, conversation about periods, un-shaming, and how we can start to reclaim our power by planning things to work with our menstrual cycles.
Ep. 006: Understanding the Water Cycle, with NASA scientist Sarah Brennan
Our first season is coming to a close, Curious Ones, and we saved the best for last!
Today we bring you a conversation with the brilliant and thoughtful Sarah Brennan, who is the deputy program manager for NASA's water resource program area.
How much water do we have access to, and is it clean?
What gives Sarah hope as we look to the future?
If you want to be a more informed steward of our precious planet, you won’t want to miss this one.
Ep. 007 - Bonus Episode: A Hug for Your Ears
Let’s start the year right with what one of Curious Ones called “a hug for your ears.”
Today we’re featuring you, our wonderful listeners, sharing what you loved from Season 1. Don’t miss the tip from one caller that changed Olivia’s life and inspired some of her stocking stuffers this year.
Before we get to all that, Meghan and Olivia share quick updates on what’s been happening in our lives since our last episode – the good, the bad, the exciting.

Ep. 010 - Stone Medicine with Rose Gebken
If you’re curious about working with stones and crystals, this episode is for you! We get curious about Stone Medicine with special guest Rose Gebken.
She’s a certified Taoist stone medicine practitioner, and she walks us through what this practice is (spoiler: NOT what Olivia thought it was!), what a typical session might look like, and how to work with and select stones. Meghan also shares her experience of stone medicine with Rose.
Listen in and get curious about this form of energy healing. You might even expand how you think about what qualifies as “alive.”

Rose introduces stone medicine, highlighting her training in this 3,000-year-old Chinese tradition, drawing parallels with acupuncture's origins.
The discussion challenges conventional definitions of life, emphasizing stones' consciousness and intention beyond visible movement.
